hound of the basket cases

The Legend…

The Hound of the Basketcases is, of course, one of the great Sherlock Holmes’ most famous cases, and the only one in which the indomitable duo travel to the untamed wilderness that is… the North!

Whilst there, they must face the dangers of misty Morwick Mire, the jaws of a ferocious giant hound, and, perhaps most terrifying of all, the unintelligible accent of an Alnmouth station master.

Holmes and Watson come to Northumberland… so what could possibly go wrong?

Directors’ Notes
From day one we’ve had great fun with this production. Each rehearsal has brought fresh ideas for sound effects, brilliant suggestions for solving set problems, and a bagful of dreadful puns! Every member of cast and crew has played a part in developing the script - a true ensemble piece.

Thanks for supporting us and enjoy the show.
